there is always room for more…

chalkboard puzzle pieces add contrast, whimsy and a message

my husband’s aunt Paula collected chickens. when she passed we were gifted some of her collection. i think i might start my own chicken collection.

paper strips create this lovely heart. designed, created and gifted to me via giveaway, by Diane of Home Sweet Homemade.

you have to love these empty glass ball ornaments that you can pick up “cheap” at any craft shop. there is no limit to the  things you can put in them, wel…l size would limit, but you get what i mean. i love to see what others have come up with. yes…those are cut up straws from Starbucks and Sonic drinks that i’ve collected over the last month.

Have you bought some of these for your tree?

What did you put in yours?

They make awesome gifts for teachers, neighbors and those hard to buy for acquaintances. and they are super easy to make up for those moments when you need a gift really quick.

Share some of your ideas in the comments.

Let’s brainstorm and see what we can come up with.

  1. My first thought when seeing the red and green in your glass ornament was LEGO pieces. And second thought was a memory of stepping on the tiniest ones with bare feet.
