31 Days of Before & After ~ Day 28 “Puzzled”

Oh I can just see it now…

ya’ll are thinking; “she did this already”
but don’t be  so hasty,  you might be pleasantly surprised 🙂

I was digging through my toy box the other day, looking for something that I didn’t find. I made a huge mess and it’s still there, all strewn about the room as if little monkeys had come in and ransacked the place.

It’s fine, this is the playroom/my office/dog room/video game room…that’s why I dubbed it the “lizard lounge” because anyone or anything that comes into this room; ends up just laying around, a lot like these toys in the floor.
I found all the pieces to an oversized floor puzzle. It’s made out of wood and the pieces have seen better days. In fact I got a splinter from one of them, so that means they are “outta here”, they gotta go! Too many itty bitty fingers that don’t need splinters or boo-boos.

But wait…
I don’t throw away anything 🙂 do I?

Out to the garage I go with my puzzle pieces…I have an idea!

I can clump them all together and glue them on a huge piece of foam board and frame them!

LOL!!!! Gotcha!

How about this…

drill a hole

then…

paint them up!

add some raffia or burlap twine

and..

write something on them and hang them from a dead tree branch.

you…mean…you don’t have dead tree branches in your home?

*gasp*

well you should so you can hang stuff on them!

Like these little odd fellows.

and since I have 24 more pieces,

you will most likely see these on my Christmas tree this year.

Each piece is about 6″ x 6″

I only painted one side for this post but I will be painting both sides just to make them look nicer.

These would be cute just hanging by the phone or on the outside of your kid’s bedroom doors.  You can leave them little love notes or give the a “piece” of you mind.  The sweet piece preferably.

I think I love chalkboard paint. it’s a blast to play with and I haven’t found anything that it won’t go on…

yet!

I’ll let you know when I do.

Maybe you were thinking about how or where these could be used…

please share in the comment section.  I’d love to hear from you.
