a graduation, a birthday and a retirement

What a week! I’m still recovering from all of the excitement around our quiet little home.

Our youngest turned 16.

Our daughter graduated from high school.

Family came from Indiana, Idaho and our Texas Hill Country kids joined in the fun.

On Saturday the 11th my house contained 10 grand kids, their parents, a set of grandparents, an aunt and uncle, hubby and me!Β  25 in all!

We had to reserve two rows at the graduation.Β  We did look grand!

Here is our graduate

Riley…love those eyes!

Her walk across for diploma

Daughter and Daddy…He’s getting emotional πŸ™‚ can ya tell?

Our son turned 16 last week! Our family tradition on birthdays…

we go to Babe’s and eat fried chicken!

all you can eat and the hokie pokie too!

It’s all about the chicken at Babe’s right down to the decor!

and the birthday chicken strut down the middle of the isle πŸ™‚

It’s good to be publicly humiliated at least once in your life…builds character…right?

oh yes…and I now the retirement

drum roll please….

my fleur de lis cross ornaments are gone…which can only mean one thing

IT’S OFFICIAL

Rustique Art now has a

RETIRED DESIGN

No worries though, I still have plenty 8″ fleur de lis crosses and there are more awesome designs to come πŸ™‚

So much more to show and tell but the sand man is knocking at my door

Blessings,
