Cost for window advertisement factored out to date…………………………$15.00/yr
Advertising your business everywhere you go to date…………………..$.04/per day
Growing your business organically…………………………………………………..Priceless
Sharing your knowledge so others can grow……………………………….Just Plain Nice

In 2004 shortly after Rustique Art become a reality, money was tight…most of what I had was spent on fees for art shows, craft fairs and supplies. I thought that I was building my inventory but soon discovered was that I was feeding a bead fetish.   As far as advertising, it was a shoestring budget. I found it hard to pay large amounts of money to advertise even though I knew marketing was  part of building a successful business… even a small business.  Small  business owners, when first starting out, can do many things themselves for little or sometimes “no” money.

From time to time I would like to share and exchange marketing and advertising ideas that have helped make the biggest impact for the least amount of money.

This will be the first in a series of inexpensive marketing/advertising/promoting idea posts (whew, that was a mouthful) …please feel free to offer your suggestions and your stories about things that you have done to help market your business on a budget.

Let the sharing begin!

To find out where you can purchase a advertisement decal for you car, contact a local printing company.  Have something ready to email to them for a quote.  I suggest getting several quotes.  Remember the more graphics the more expense.  However there are many options available these days, anywhere from simple text to window graphics that cover the window completely.

  1. Wow…Phyllis thank you for mentioning that. One of the problems with blogging late at night…you usually miss the obvious.

Yes..visit http://www.Etsy.com and use the search to look for these Etsy shops that offer this type of service. I found many while doing a search just now.

I suggest using the drop down and choosing “seller” and then the keywords, “Car window decals” …then shop away. They have some great pricing too. Made me kinda wonder about my state of frugal thinking in 2004, but then I remembered the Etsy didn’t launch until 2005.
    whew… 🙂
